2nd Day in Santa Fe #2

Hello!

Today was our second day during our stay in Santa Fe.

On our way to the Indian Cliff dwellings of Bandelier we stopped to enjoy the view of the White Rocks. I personally have only known landscapes like this from pictures on the internet, but in reality it’s much more impressive.

When we arrived at the Indian Cliff dwellings of Bandelier we went on a little hike where we could climb into the housings of the people that had once lived there. It was very interesting to learn about their living situation and how they lived in those tiny holes, where I could never imagine to live.

After having a picknick we drove on to the city of Los Alamos. Los Alamos is famous for being a city of scientists that came together during the Second World War to develope an atomic bomb. First we visited a museum about Los Alamos, and especially the history part was very interesting. In addition to the museum we went through the town and our teacher showed us some interesting spots and informed us about them.

In the end of this long day we had dinner in an all-you-can-eat restaurant. The food there was delicious and I realized that it is very common in the USA to grab a new plate if you want to eat more. In Germany that is not common, and I was a bit surprised.

All in all this was again another day filled with new impressions.

Thank you for reading this blog post!
