Oklahoma City

Hey and welcome back!

Today we went on a two-day trip to Oklahoma City. We met at the school and drove then for about two hours. First we went to the Oklahoma City National Memorial which is a memorial that honores the victims, rescuers and all who were affected by the bombing on April 19,1995. It was very interesting and I thought that it is a good thing that every victim has a chair which symbolizes the now free place at the dining table. The museum was well created as well. Then we went to Harn Homestead, where we had a guided tour and visited an ancient school building and a house. After that we went to the history museum where we played bingo. Although the museums and memorials were very interesting the highlight of the day was the outlet-shopping. All in all the day was very interesting and sucessfull in many ways.

Stay tuned and read on!
