Hello!
On our second day in Oklahoma City, we first went to Bricktown and the Centennial Land Run Monument. The Land Run Monument was pretty impressive and showed many details of how people felt and what they had to do during this time. Bricktown was a nice park, and we enjoyed walking around.
After that we went to see the State Capitol, a huge and noble place. We had a guide who told us a bit about the political System in Oklahoma, the building itself and the work of the people working there. We also met a politician who had been a teacher at Booker T. Washington High School before.
Our group also visited the Governor’s Mansion. I found it pretty cool that the governor lets people see where and how he lives. Of course the whole house was very noble and we saw many things with a high value and importance.
In the end of our trip we had lunch at ‘Pops’, which is a restaurant which sells a lot of different sodas, and I really liked the variety of sodas they had there.
