Oklahoma City #2

Hello!

During the two weeks in Tulsa we went on a trip to Oklahoma City on tuesday and wednesday.

After the car ride to Oklahoma City we visited the memorial of the bombing in Oklahoma City, where 168 people had died in 1995. The memorial was well-created and there was a museum about the bombing as well, which was very big and impressive.

After that we went to Harn Homestead, where we saw a typical school and a typical home of former people. We had a guide who told us a lot about Oklahoman history and especially the Land Run, which was very interesting.

Then we visited another Museum, this time the History Museum of Oklahoma City, which gave additional information on all the historical events that we had already heard of, and I was glad to have an ordered overview of the history again. We played Bingo with important Oklahoman people and events, which was fun.

In the end of the day we went shopping at an Outlet-Center.

Thank you for reading!

Amelie
