Hello and welcome back to our blog!
Now that we already spent 3 days in an American family and went to school here in Tulsa I gained new experiences again.
Today we went to the First Baptist Tulsa in the downtown of Tulsa. We met Matt McClure, who is the Minister to Students at that church.
First of all I was impressed by the building of the church. It was very big and they had their own gym and in general much space for their youth and activities of the community.
Matt McClure told us about his work as a youth pastor, about his church and about the things they offer to the children and students.
I think that the modern building and the modern equipment that they had are very attractive to younger people, that’s why churches that can offer modern music, Social Media Accounts and services with a lot of modern equipment and techniques are also on the rise in Germany.
I think that it can be good if churches make such developements, and you can also find those developements in Germany, but it’s probably used more often in the USA, because church is often of a higher importance.
