Hello and welcome back!
Another day and again lots of new impressions. Today was our second day in Santa Fe. First we went to a viewing lot and saw the White Rocks, which is a national monument. The view was amazing and I could have stayed much longer than just a few minutes. After that we went hiking in the Indian cliff dwellings of Bandelier. This cliffs were very interesting and it was a lot of fun climbing into the holes and enjoying the shade. I was also a bit shocked because of the holes being that tiny and the fact of people living in there years ago.
Then we went to Los Alamos, which is a city where many scientists went during second world war to develop an atomic bomb. We walked around the city and our teachers showed us the sights and gave us some background information. Another thing we did in Los Alamos was visiting the Bradbury Science Museum. The museum told the history of Los Alamos and the developing of the first atomic bomb. I really liked the museum because the history was well explained and understandable. I also liked that they had so many real things of that time so that you could imagine things better. To end the day we went to Souper Salad, an all-you-can -eat restaurant. The food was very good and there were many options.
Stay tuned and read on!
