Lots of nice people, big trucks and soft drinks nearly everywhere- this are my first impressions of the USA.
Yesterday we flew to the US and our travel started. After ten hours of non-stop flying we finally landed in Atlanta. Then we had to wait to fly again, to Albuquerque. I was very tired and it was more stressfull than I expected, but all in all I was very happy to be in the USA.
After a few hours of sleeping it was time to start our first day in Albuquerque and to see many things. First we went to an Indian Pueblo. There we had a guided tour, which was helpful to understand the culture and history of the Native Americans a little better. After that we went hiking in Sandia Peak, a little mountain. It was very refreshing but also a little strange because of the small heaps of snow up there although the temperature was very high.
So overall I am very impressed of the country and i can not wait to see more!
Thank you for reading and stay tuned!
