Hello, welcome to our blog!
As my classmates and me are going to participate in an exchange program with the USA soon, we are now preparing our journey.
Lately, we had the chance to talk to a student of our school, that had been visiting the United States last year.
She told us about the experiences she had made, which was very helpful, and also gave us some tips on how to pack our suitcases. There are a few important things, e.g. nose spray, that we should carry with us because of different climate conditions, that I personally wouldn’t have thought about. We also saw some photos of her trip.
In the last lesson we also met an American teacher from ‘Panzerkaserne’, who told us about American culture and the lifestyle of the people there. He also gave us some information about Tulsa, the town where our exchange students are from, and New Mexico, where we are going to be in the first week of our exchange. It was e.g. new to me that Tulsa is also a big music city.
With those new impressions and this new information, I am even more excited than I already was before the lesson.
