Travel Diary

My name is Aurélie. I ́m 15 and live near Stuttgart, Germany. In April I will be part of a student exchange program with the United States together with some other students. We will write several blog entries referring to our experiences in a different country.

The first week will be a road trip through New Mexiko with our teachers. We will see a nature reserve and cities like Albuquerque. Then the exchange starts. After our flight to Tulsa, Oklahoma we will meet our host families for the first time. In the following two weeks we will have the opportunity to experience an American high school and the daily life. A two-day trip to Oklahoma city is planned as well.

Since November, we ́ve been meeting every second week to organize and talk about our stay in the United States.

I ́m looking forward to make new friends, to gain various experiences and to learn about the American culture and people.
